Experience the festive atmosphere at the Meissen Wine Festival!
Saxony's most important wine festival takes place every year on the last weekend in September. Around Meissen's market square, the winegrowers of the region serve their fine wines. There is also a colourful entertainment programme with a wide range of music from blues, rock, folk, brass band music, classical music, jazz and much more. The highlight is the winegrowers' parade on Sunday morning. A colourful hustle and bustle on the Elbe meadows rounds off the festival. Admission is free.
